Bright Thoughts - March 2026 Newsletter
This month, we focus on two national priorities with direct impact on safeguarding practice: the KCSIE 2026 consultation and the Government’s SEND reform agenda. We also share our latest blog on Domestic Abuse, along with practical resources to support safeguarding and mental health in your setting. If you’re recruiting into the children’s workforce, consider booking Safer Recruitment training to help ensure robust safeguarding from the start.
Bright Thoughts - November 2025 Newsletter
This edition aligns with the introduction of the new Ofsted Education Inspection Framework (EIF), effective from 10th November 2025. To support schools in navigating these changes, we've created an exclusive Whole-School Approach Safeguarding Matrix. This valuable resource is free for schools and colleges that have commissioned a safeguarding review with us since November 2025, or those who book a future review or have a Service Level Agreement (SLA) with us.
Bright Thoughts - September 2025 Newsletter
In this edition, we launch our Brightcore Training Directory, offer free places on our Youth Mental Health First Aid course, and share a summary of the key KCSIE 2025 updates. Plus, you’ll find a downloadable September Safeguarding Checklist and a reminder to book your spot for our free KCSIE 2025 webinar!
